I’ve always loved the Porsche for as long as I can remember. Recalling vividly that my first love was a red BMW, as a kid, Be My Wife as it was widely referred to in this part.
Even as I write now, the song “Black Panamera” plays in my head, there’s no doubt about the Porsche Carrera GT.
Playing around Instagram and discovering for myself beyond my wildest dreams. A lot is out there for me so why do I keep living here, then it all happened.
Definitely, I know that all gets to the starting, where it all began.
Traditionally, Porsche loves it turbo-charged flat six-engine but for the Carrera GT, it’s case is different. I ask where the concept would have come from.
Porsche has always been one of the leading cars in the 24 Hours of Le Mans from it’s time with its legendary Porsche 911 GT1.
The Porsche Carrera GT born a Le Mans prototype, a V10 engine at the 2000 Paris Motor Show which awed car enthusiast.
Without doubt, when the name Porsche pops up, there’s absolute certainty of the German automobile which has led the automobile world to believe in the Porsche badge.
What would be said about $448,000 supercar that produces a 605hp from it’s 5.7L V10 engine is certainly worth it.
The design makes the GT look like an innocently looking beast that makes a top speed of 300km/h (205mph). The Autobahn would be set ablaze with a silent roar of the GT while running 0-60mph at 3.5 seconds which is absolutely insane.
Okay, juxtaposing with a Ferrari Enzo, no words could be altered. The Enzo goes from 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, it’s simply just handed to the Carrera GT as Ferrari Enzo is just 0.2s faster.
The control of Porsche Carrera GT is done by a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.
From not using the flat six-engine to employing the use of a manual gear to comfortably control the V10 engine tells of the power of the Carrera GT.
With it’s lightweight and aerodynamics characteristics, the GT can be able to reach a high speed while utilizing it’s 605hp without delay.
Special feature, is the GTs roof going off. Definitely, the Porsche Carrera GT is one force to be reckoned with, without hesitation. One that would make my list in the garage.
