Range Rover has tested times in its five decades of delivering dependable cars for rough terrain still exhibiting comfort when driving. All perspective are still in big consideration, especially luxury playing a big role in recent times. The line up known as the first generation Range Rover has made radical changes in the fifth generation, my mind was blown as I sat staring at my screen, in a bit you’d see the 2022 Range Rover.
What would be a Range Rover if it doesn’t have its characteristic boxy shape that it’s customers have found delightful and Range Rover over the past decades has kept it simple yet expressing comfort and with time, luxury.
Just from it’s from view it’s absolutely obvious that the 2022 Range Rover is unique with a new bumper that calls for attention and a little doubt that it’s a Range Rover although the Range Rover nameplate on the bonnet gives it away. As you’d expect 2022 should be different especially at a time where electric cars are taking over, well Range Rover offers mild hybrid version now and plug-in versions to be out by 2024 but could happen 2023.
The 2022 Range Rover is equipped in three seat option : 4,5 or 7 (long wheel base) seat interior options.
Interiorly, you’d trust Range Rover on it’s interior make over, with the finest of leather materials, new infotainment system, deployable arm rest and in the 4 seater, there’s a tray that electronically pops up in between both rear passengers.
The 2022 Range Rover is equipped with various engine depending on seat interiors. Range Rover P400 SE is equipped with 3.0L turbo-charged engine blistering 395 hp and 306 lb-ft of torque and its long wheel base Range Rover P530 is equipped with 4.4L turbocharged V8 cranking 523 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. There’s still the SV version, a collaboration between Range Rover and it’s special vehicle operation division.
The unique and catchy part of the SUV is it’s rear view, completely outrageous. Just stop and keep staring. The tail lights are just next to mine – the most powerful tail light in the world, that illuminates from its dark enclosure. The head light employs a technology that can block up to 16 cars headlight while driving at night, Audi A8 headlight can block up to 8 cars headlight. Range Rover has employed a new split folding tail gate and in the trunk, two seats could be brought out to sit and relax.
