Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 are the first edition of Ferrari’s “Icona series” – special cars that pays homage to classic speedster cars of 1950s – Ferrari 166MM, 750 Monza and 250 Testarossa. The limited edition of cars include 499 units equipped with Ferrari’s most powerful V12 engine as of 2018 when it was introduced at Paris Motor Show.

Ferrari Monza is equipped 6.5L naturally aspirated V-12 engine mated with 7 speed dial clutch transmission gearbox that cranks 790 hp and 530 lb-ft of torque reaching from 0 – 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and 0 – 124 mph in 7.9 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph.

Ferrari Monza SP1 is a single seater speedster made entirely of carbon fiber including a tonneau cover and Ferrari Monza SP1 is a two seater speedster, separated by a center console in which are both SP1 and SP2 are built on improved version of Ferrari 812 Superfast. SP1 weighs 1500 kg and SP2 weighs 20 kg more, 1520 kg. Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 engines remained Ferrari’s most powerful engine until Ferrari built the 812 competizione and 812 Competizione A with 820 hp.

A little scissors door is opened to a cockpit a carbon fibre single seater made of leather upholstery that has no windshield and roof, rather Ferrari uses what’s known as “virtual windshield” that deflects air over the driver’s head when driving just like in Lamborghini Squadra Corse20, and the Silver Arrow: Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss. In SP2, the scissors door opens up to a two seater, the driver and passenger are separated by a carbon fiber center console with functional steering wheel, a simple interior with big buttons. A small polycarbonate windscreen is installed to protect to protect the passenger.

Last year, 2020, Ferrari styling Center won Compasso d’ Oro industrial design award (Golden Compass Award) for Ferrari Monza SP styling.

Ferrari Monza SP cost $1.9 million to have it in the garage and it’s exclusive regardless of how much owned because it’s only exclusive to owners of other incredible models.
